Family Owned for 70 Years
Cumberland Foundry began in 1949, founded by Thomas Lucchetti and his partners. Al Lucchetti took over the business from his father in 1984. He has been succeeded by his son Tom Lucchetti, our current President.

In October of 1963, one month before the assassination of President Kennedy, the business that Thomas Lucchetti and his partners built burned to the ground. They immediately chose to rebuild the business into what it is today.

Two years later, the foundry was operating again. Spanning the decades since, we have provided customers with high quality patterns, green sand gray and ductile iron castings, competitive pricing, and service that results in repeat customers. We have built many relations spanning decades. Today our niche market is in short to medium run custom iron casting.
